The Hina of Cameroon

The Hina of Cameroon, numbering about 24,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are one of the Mandara Mountains 'Kirdi' peoples of Cameroon's Far North, who took refuge in the rugged Mandara highlands and resisted conversion during the nineteenth-century Fulani jihad under Modibbo Adama, retaining traditional practices.

They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Mina (Cameroon).
