The Malgbe of Cameroon
The Malgbe of Cameroon, numbering about 11,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Chadic-speaking Kotoko people of the Lake Chad basin inhabiting the Chari and Logone river valleys of Cameroon and Chad, descended from the historic riverine city-states that developed along Central Africa's Sahelian frontier.
They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Malgbe.
