The Ewondo of Cameroon, numbering about 2,100,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Beti-Pahuin people whose name gave Cameroon's capital Yaounde its own, driven north from the Sanaga River basin by Vute and Fulbe pressure before serving as colonial trade middlemen and later resisting forced labor under German and French rule.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-Congo people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Ewondo.
