The Duupa of Cameroon
The Duupa of Cameroon, numbering about 12,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Adamawa-speaking people of northern Cameroon's Duru-language cluster, part of the wider Adamawa-Ubangi peoples, whose villages blend Islamic practice with older local traditions common across the region's mountainous savanna.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Duupa.
