The Biba-Befang of Cameroon
The Biba-Befang of Cameroon, numbering about 6,200 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of northwestern Cameroon who speak Befang, a Benue-Congo language. They inhabit the Menchum Valley and maintain cultural traditions shaped by agriculture, palm oil production, local chieftaincy institutions, and kinship ties.
They are an indigenous people in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Befang.
