The Bati of Cameroon
The Bati of Cameroon, numbering about 3,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are part of the Bassa-Mpoo-Bati cluster of Bantu peoples in Cameroon's Littoral and Centre regions, descended from Nile Valley migrants who moved toward the Atlantic coast before Fulani jihad-era pressure in the 1800s.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Northwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Bati (Cameroon).
