The Anyang of Cameroon

The Anyang of Cameroon, numbering about 38,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a forest people of Akwaya and Mamfe in Cameroon's Southwest Region, organized into five clans and speaking the Denya language, largely bilingual in the neighboring Kenyang tongue due to poor road access.

They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Cameroon-Bamileke people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Denya.
