The Abo of Cameroon
The Abo of Cameroon, numbering about 24,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Bantu people of Cameroon's Moungo department who trace descent from the founder Nkon, son of Lombi, whose father moved north to found the related Barombi settlements, described as skilled ironworkers producing swords and tools by an 1875 missionary.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Northwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Bankon.
