The Ewe of Burkina Faso
The Ewe of Burkina Faso, numbering about 48,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Ewe ethnolinguistic community of southern Togo and neighboring regions of West Africa. They speak Éwé, a Gbe language, and trace their heritage to the historic Ewe settlements between the Volta and Mono river systems.
They are a diaspora people in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Ewe.
