The Xwela of Benin
The Xwela of Benin, numbering about 146,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Gbe-speaking people of Benin's Mono region, part of the Phla-Phera cluster thought to include some of the area's original inhabitants alongside later Gbe-speaking immigrants.
They are an indigenous people in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Xwela Gbe.
