The Chakosi of Benin
The Chakosi of Benin, numbering about 31,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are warrior migrants known as Anufo, meaning people of Anu after their ancestral home on the Ivory Coast's Komoe River, who built a kingdom at Sansanne-Mango and traditionally lived off raids into neighboring farming communities.
They are an indigenous people in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Islam, and they primarily speak Anufo.
