The Tumma of Sudan

The Tumma of Sudan, numbering about 10,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Nuba people, also called Sangali, of South Kordofan's Nuba Mountains, a region once part of the ancient Kingdom of Kush and medieval Alodia that served as a refuge for peoples of many tongues fleeing oppressive governments and slave traders.

They are an indigenous people in the Nuba Mountains people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Katcha-Kadugli-Miri.
