The Tumale of Sudan
The Tumale of Sudan, numbering about 13,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Tagoi people of the northeastern Nuba Mountains whose homeland was once part of the ancient Kingdom of Kush, later ruled by the 18th-century Taqali kingdom under a tradition of divine kingship until its Mahdist defeat.
They are an indigenous people in the Nuba Mountains people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Tagoi.
