The Sinyar of Sudan
The Sinyar of Sudan, numbering about 13,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a cross-border people of western Darfur and eastern Chad whose homeland was divided by the colonial frontier, with a distinct Sinyar language and longstanding cultural ties to the Fur.
They are an indigenous people in the Ouaddai-Fur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Sinyar.
