The Masalit of Sudan
The Masalit of Sudan, numbering about 490,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous Maban people of eastern Chad centered around Adré and extending across the border into Dar Masalit in western Sudan.
They are an indigenous people in the Ouaddai-Fur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Masalit.
