The Masakin of Sudan
The Masakin of Sudan, numbering about 124,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Nuba people speaking Dagik, historically combining pastoralism with subsistence farming before settling the Nuba Mountains of South Kordofan, a region governed from Talodi as its own closed administrative district under British rule until 1929.
They are an indigenous people in the Nuba Mountains people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Dagik.
