The Komo of Sudan
The Komo of Sudan, numbering about 36,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Koman people of Sudan's Blue Nile forested plains, driven into marginal lowlands by Oromo expansion from the 18th century onward and marked by decades of slavery and persecution, closely related to the neighboring Uduk.
They are an indigenous people in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Komo (Sudan).
