The Katla of Sudan
The Katla of Sudan, numbering about 35,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Nuba people of the Katla Hills in Sudan's South Kordofan, one of some fifty distinct ethnic groups sheltered in the Nuba Mountains, speaking the namesake language of the small Katla-Tima family.
They are an indigenous people in the Nuba Mountains people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Katla.
