The Dongotono of South Sudan
The Dongotono of South Sudan, numbering about 9,900 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Nilotic people of the Dongotono Mountains in Eastern Equatoria, part of the broader Lango cluster alongside the Lokwa, Ketebo, Logir, and Imatong, whose oral culture of songs, dance, and folklore draws heavily from the neighboring Lotuka.
They are an indigenous people in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Dongotono.
