The Belanda Dor of South Sudan
The Belanda Dor of South Sudan, numbering about 19,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Western Nilotic people related to the Shilluk, split into river-dwelling Jo Kunam and hill-dwelling Jo Ugot clans, whose tradition tells of splitting from the Jo Luo to join the Bor near the Sueh hills, later displaced by slave raids and war.
They are an indigenous people in the Sudanic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Belanda Bor.
