The Tunni of Somalia
The Tunni of Somalia, numbering about 57,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are one of the oldest Somali clans, part of the Digil-Rahanweyn branch, occupying the lower Shabelle valley since 2000 BCE and Jubba valley since 1000 BCE with the Garre, founding the Tunni Sultanate from Qoryooley before its conquest by the Garen Kingdom.
They are an indigenous people in the Somali people cluster of the Horn of Africa Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Tunni.
