The Konso of Ethiopia
The Konso of Ethiopia, numbering about 413,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Lowland East Cushitic-speaking people of southern Ethiopia renowned for their terraced agriculture, fortified settlements, councils of elders, and distinctive cultural traditions.
They are an indigenous people in the Sidama people cluster of the Horn of Africa Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Konso.
