The Tunya of Chad
The Tunya of Chad, numbering about 7,400 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small community along the Chari River north to the Guera region of Chad, speaking an endangered Bua-cluster Adamawa language now passed on to a shrinking share of younger generations.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Tunia.
