The Masa of Chad
The Masa of Chad, numbering about 357,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Chadic people whose oral tradition traces migration from Yemen through Egypt and Sudan to Lake Chad, arriving in northern Cameroon before the Tikar people and later fleeing across the river to escape Tripoli-based slave traders.
They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Masana.
