The Gula Iro of Chad
The Gula Iro of Chad, numbering about 12,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Bua-speaking people of southeastern Chad near Lake Iro between the Bola and Salamat rivers, whose culture echoes the neighboring Sara despite an unrelated language family to the Ubangian Gula of Sudan and CAR.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Gula Iro.
