The Gori of Chad
The Gori of Chad, numbering about 1,900 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnic minority along Chad's Chari River in Moyen-Chari prefecture speaking the Laal language isolate, unclassified and unrelated to any known language family, with younger generations increasingly shifting to the more widespread Bagirmi tongue.
They are an indigenous people in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Laal.
