The Berguid of Chad
The Berguid of Chad, numbering about 26,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a people of southeastern Chad's Moubi Goz and Moubi Zarga cantons, whose Birgit language includes several named varieties such as Abgue, Agrab, and Duguri spoken by around 25,000 people.
They are an indigenous people in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Birgit.
