The Muong of Vietnam, numbering about 1,490,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Vietnam, mostly north central mountain, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa, Vinh Phu, Yen Bai, Son La, Ninh Binh provinces.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Muong.
