The Mang of Vietnam
The Mang of Vietnam, numbering about 3,700 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an indigenous people of Vietnam's northwestern corner nicknamed the Wanderers for a nomadic past, first recorded in southeastern Yunnan under the Ming dynasty before migrating into Lai Chau and Lao Cai during the seventeenth-century Qing conquest.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak Mang.
