The Hung of Vietnam
The Hung of Vietnam, numbering about 1,100 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a very small Vietic (Austroasiatic) ethnolinguistic group, usually treated as a subgroup within the broader Thổ ethnic category, rather than as one of Vietnam’s 54 separately recognized ethnic groups.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Hung.
