The Bouyei of Vietnam
The Bouyei of Vietnam, numbering about 2,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small Tai-Kadai-speaking community tracing roots to South China's ancient Bai Yue and Yelang kingdom peoples, settled in Vietnam's Muong Khuong and Quan Ba districts as the Tu Di subgroup among the country's recognized minorities.
They are an indigenous people in the Bouyei people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak Bouyei.
