The Toman Islanders of Vanuatu
The Toman Islanders of Vanuatu, numbering about 900 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small Oceanic-speaking island community centered on Toman Island near Malakula in northern Vanuatu. They belong to the highly fragmented linguistic and cultural landscape of northern Vanuatu.
They are an indigenous people in the Vanuatu people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Malfaxal.
