The Mosin of Vanuatu
The Mosin of Vanuatu, numbering about 1,900 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small Banks Islands community of southern Vanua Lava whose Vures language went undocumented in writing until a linguist compiled its first grammar and dictionary in 2021, launched together with the village community the following year.
They are an indigenous people in the Vanuatu people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Vurës.
