The Western Bru of Thailand
The Western Bru of Thailand, numbering about 17,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Mon-Khmer-speaking people of Dong Luang district in Thailand's Mukdahan province, believed descended from populations of the Angkor-era Khmer kingdom.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Western Bru.
