The Reef Islanders of the Solomon Islands
The Reef Islanders of the Solomon Islands, numbering about 16,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous Oceanic-speaking population of the main Reef Islands in Temotu Province, Solomon Islands, particularly Lomlom and Fenualoa/Ngäsinuwe. Their communities traditionally depend on fishing and subsistence horticulture.
They are an indigenous people in the Solomons people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Ayiwo.
