The Daai Chin of Myanmar
The Daai Chin of Myanmar, numbering about 41,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are one of 32 officially recognized Chin tribes of southern Chin State, whose name means peace or harmony, remaining independent until a British expedition in 1890 led to annexation in 1897, with about 99 percent of the population now Christian.
They are an indigenous people in the Kuki-Chin (Zo) people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Daai Chin.
