The Sian of Malaysia
The Sian of Malaysia, numbering about 175 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a former hunter-gatherer people who identify themselves as Punan, tracing migration from Mujong near the Baleh River through Namang River to Belaga, uniquely dwelling in huts rather than longhouses and numbering only about 200 to 300 today.
They are an indigenous people in the Borneo-Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Sian.
