The Jah Hut of Malaysia
The Jah Hut of Malaysia, numbering about 5,400 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Senoi Orang Asli people whose name means forest people, settled along Pahang River's west bank after ancestors fled the 1862 Rawa Rebellion at Pagar Ruyung, one of only two Orang Asli groups renowned for producing carved masks and sculptures.
They are an indigenous people in the West Malaysia Indigenous people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Jah Hut.
