The Chewong of Malaysia
The Chewong of Malaysia, numbering about 750 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Senoi Orang Asli people, properly called Siwang, whose ancestors reached the Malay Peninsula in a second migration wave some 6,000 to 8,000 years ago, still living by hill-paddy farming, hunting, and forest foraging in Pahang's mountains.
They are an indigenous people in the West Malaysia Indigenous people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Chewong.
