The Pacoh of Laos
The Pacoh of Laos, numbering about 26,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Katuic Mon-Khmer people of Laos's Saravan and Savannakhet mountains near Vietnam, whose name means people of the mountain, descended from valley settlers pushed into the highlands by Thai newcomers, marking every village with an outskirts spirit-house.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Pacoh.
