The Gonedauan of Fiji
The Gonedauan of Fiji, numbering about 850 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small East Fijian people of the Galoa and Tavea islands off western Vanua Levu, forming warrior-class Bati clan divisions within Kadavu's social structure, descended from Lapita voyagers who settled Fiji between 1100 and 550 BCE.
They are an indigenous people in the Fiji people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Gone Dau.
