The Dhangu of Australia
The Dhangu of Australia, numbering about 2,200 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Aboriginal Australian Yolŋu people of northeastern Arnhem Land whose traditional country is centered on the Yirrkala, Melville Bay, and Cape Arnhem region and who comprise several clans within the Dhuwa and Yirritja moieties.
They are an indigenous people in the Aboriginal Australians people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Dhangu-Djangu.
