The Guguyalanji of Australia
The Guguyalanji of Australia, numbering about 750 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Aboriginal Australian rainforest people of Far North Queensland whose traditional country extends from the Daintree and Mossman regions toward Cooktown and the Palmer River and who maintain a distinct Kuku Yalanji identity.
They are an indigenous people in the Aboriginal Australians people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Kuku-Yalanji.
