The Kagayanen of the Philippines
The Kagayanen of the Philippines, numbering about 39,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Manobo-descended people of Cagayancillo in the Sulu Sea, Philippines, later influenced by Moro settlers from the Sulu Sultanate, historically skilled shipbuilders who sought protection from pirates behind the islands' reefs.
They are an indigenous people in the Filipino Tribal people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Kagayanen.
