The Itawit of the Philippines
The Itawit of the Philippines, numbering about 254,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Austronesian people of Cagayan Valley in northern Luzon, closely related to the Ibanag and among the earliest Philippine groups converted to Roman Catholicism under Spanish rule.
They are an indigenous people in the Filipino Tribal people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Itawit.
