The Paiwanese of Taiwan
The Paiwanese of Taiwan, numbering about 118,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are Taiwan's second-largest Indigenous people, settled across the southern Central Mountain Range from Damumu to the Hengchun Peninsula, practicing first-child inheritance regardless of gender alongside a distinctive five-year ritual.
They are an indigenous people in the Taiwan Indigenous people cluster of the East Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Paiwan.
