The Utsat of China
The Utsat of China, numbering about 8,700 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Chamic-speaking people of Hainan descended from Cham refugees who fled the fall of Champa's capital Vijaya in 1471, with earlier waves arriving as early as 986, whose community absorbed substantial indigenous Hlai ancestry over time.
They are an indigenous people in the Chinese-Hui people cluster of the East Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Tsat.
