The Aoka of China
The Aoka of China, numbering about 431,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Miao-related people of the Hunan-Guangxi borderlands whose identity reflects ancestral Hmu migrations and the development of a distinct Qingyi language through centuries of interaction with Han Chinese communities.
They are an indigenous people in the Miao / Hmong people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Xiang Chinese.
