The Longxi Qiang of China
The Longxi Qiang of China, numbering about 7,100 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Western Yi people of Baoshan in western Yunnan who likely descended from the influential Laluo of Menghua and developed a distinct language and identity after centuries of separation from related Yi groups.
They are an indigenous people in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak Southern Qiang.
