The Nunu of China

The Nunu of China, numbering about 80,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a distinct Bunu-related people of northwestern Guangxi who were pushed into remote mountain homelands by pressure from Han and Zhuang populations, preserving their own language, culture, and identity within the officially recognized Yao nationality.

They are an indigenous people in the Yao-Mien people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Bu-Nao Bunu.
